Meet Miss Amanda...
Miss Amanda is from St. George, KS. She has enjoyed working with children since she started babysitting in elementary school. In high school she was a nanny during the summers for a family with three little girls. She worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Topeka while attending Washburn University. She has worked in public schools as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, substitute, and early childhood special education teacher.
She loves animals and has one spoiled dog and two guinea pigs. Her favorite pastimes are doing activities with her son, especially bicycling and hiking. This past year she did a lot of camping with her son's Boy Scout troop and discovered that it is a lot of work, but lots of fun, too.
Miss Amanda puts her experience and expertise to work full-time, year-round, with the Pre-CCC program.
