We're moving! Cool Care is excited to be moving into our own space! Remodeling has started on our new bulding at 839 Church Avenue - next to Blue Valley Memorial United Methodist Church. We recently purchased BVMUMC's Education Building and surrounding land. We are so grateful for Blue Valley's partnership and care and compassion for the Manhattan community. We can't wait to be their neighbor! :)
Cool Care Club currently rents space from First Baptist Church. (Additionally, they pay the property-tax as the church would otherwise be tax-exempt if not for hosting a for-profit business.) CCC is thankful for the support of the FBC Congregation over the past 23+ years. Our lease there is up at the end of August and an extension request - until construction on our new space is complete - was denied by new FBC Leadership. So we will be moving into the Wefald Pavilion in Manhattan City Park for the month of September. We're hopeful that our new space will be ready by the end of September when we will move again.
